Recently, I was cleaning out my closet and in the back of my closet, I found a big bag full of old jeans. Most of the jeans still fit at least in the waist. Some of them are too short. Some of them I don't wear any of them anymore. This summer, I wanted to buy a lot of new jean shorts, but I just didn't get around to actually doing it. Now, all the stores have all of their fall clothes in, so I can't. That gave me the idea, why not make my own shorts out of my old jeans!? That way I can customize them. I have never really made my own clothes before. Once I made my own apron in a sewing class and last year my boyfriend and I made our own Halloween costumes, but that definitely doesn't make me an expert sewer or anything! I decided to do this DIY project that is easy for anyone to do at home. All you need is old jeans, scissors, tweezers, fabric glue, a nail file, and any fun accessories you want to use on your shorts.
